Kink of the Week March 16-31: Fishnets
I have always thought that fishnets were sexy but it was only after I read Fishnet Queen by Jade A Waters that I realised they absolutely deserved to be a topic here on Kink of the Week in their own right. If you have not read the story then I suggest you do, it is a deliciously sexy piece which is essentially about someone’s fetish for Laney and her fishnets.
When most people think of fishnets they tend to assume you are talking about stockings and/or tights but there are of course fishnet body stockings, dresses and even gloves. There are also the traditional diamond shaped fishnets which come in various different weaves and also ones with other patterns/shapes in the net.
So tell us about you and fishnets. Are you a wearer of fishnets? Do you have a favourite pair or outfit? Is there something about putting them on that just makes you feel fucking sexy? Is it the way they look or feel that gives you that little buzz of excitement or maybe they always remind you of a sexy memory or person?
And then there are those who don’t wear them but are very appreciative of those who do. What it is about fishnets that catches your eye? Is there something about the way they feel, or the way they look?
There is no right or wrong way to do Kink of the Week. You can write personal essays, thoughts and experiences, poetry, fiction, or even just post an image that is inspired by the prompt. You can even write about why a certain subject does not work for you or even squicks you out, the only thing I ask you not to do is to yuck other peoples yum. It is fine to say, I don’t like this kink because….. but it is not OK to say, and people who do like it are bad/disgusting/wrong etc. Always try to stick to the ‘You Kink Is Not My Kink But Your Kink Is OK’ when writing for Kink of the Week.
